This course is only available to those who already have a higher education degree but who need deeper, expert knowledge of English law.
Lawyers from other jurisdictions take this course when they do not want to study at the long LLB programme or they intend to take the LLM course later. GDCL covers only 4 modules, and you can study from 1 to 5 years taking exams in 1 or 2 modules a year.
A law degree that can become a big step to the career of a common law lawyer. You can choose a qualifying degree that will make your way to a lawyer’s qualification easier later on.
The student can choose between to studying schemes:
Standard Entry Route
Available for high school graduates and those who already have a higher education degree. Consists of 12 modules (subjects) that the student studies over 4 years, taking 3 exams a year.
Available only for those who already have a higher education degree. Consists of 9 modules that the student studies over 3 years depending on the pace of studying they choose (exams in 2/3 modules each year).
